Single-cell RNA sequencing of renal CD45 positive immune cells in a mouse model of periodontitis-aggravated renal fibrosis

This dataset presents single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data of CD45 positive immune cells isolated from kidneys of a mouse model investigating the mechanistic link between periodontitis and renal fibrosis. The study specifically explores how the periodontal pathogen Fusobacterium nucleatum (F.n) exacerbates renal injury in a unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) model. Renal CD45 positive immune cells were isolated from two experimental groups, including periodontitis established by ligating the molars and then treated with either F.n (LIP+F.n+UUO) or vehicle (LIP+UUO), followed by UUO surgery.
