Global lifecycle emissions intensity of oil and gas supply by region 2018

In 2018, the Middle East region accounted for 24 percent of the full oil and gas supply lifecycle emissions intensity worldwide, followed closely by Russia and the Caspian Sea region with around 23 percent. The main sources of these emissions are production, processing, transmission and distribution to final consumers.
