Data underlying the research of the Effect of COVID-19 Pandemic on Air Cargo Capacity

In this dataset, we provide flight schedules for five major cargo carriers ( FedEx, UPS, DHL, Cathay Pacific Cargo, and Cargolux) retrieved between November 2019 and April 2020 from public aviation data sources. Flight schedules are divided by OD airport pair and retrieval date, and refer to a 14-day period that culminates in the day specified for each observation. We use this dataset to (i) generate the 5 networks, compute network indices and metrics, and (ii) assess the effect of COVID-19 on such network cargo capacities, having a dataset that covers a pre- and post-pandemic phase
