EU transportation sector GHG emission projections 1990-2050, by mode

With current policies under the Green Deal package, transportation emissions in the European Union are projected to be just 25 percent below 1990 levels by 2040, and just over 60 percent lower in 2050. The EU has set a legally binding target of becoming a net-zero economy by 2050.
