Impact of warning labels on perceptions of harms caused by alcohol in Canada 2023

The share of alcohol consuming Canadians whose perceptions of harms of alcohol were impacted to a large extent rose from 19 percent to 27 percent after labeling the beverages with the health risk warnings. Overall, there was a very slight difference in the perceptions of alcohol damage before and after implementing warning labels.
