Numerical solutions of Navier-Stokes equations through three-dimensional stochastic and simple cubic porous media in Darcy and inertial regime

The data contains raw hydrodynamic fields (velocity and density) obtained for a flow through a three dimensional stochastic and simple cubic porous medium. The flow velocities capture both the Darcy and the inertial regime. The methods used are Lattice Boltzmann Method, and finite volume method (openFoam - simpleFoam and pimpleFoam solvers). Additionally, we provide the positions of the obstacles for the stochastic samples and key scripts and source codes used to post-process the data.
