Prior to the Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) project in the McMurdo Dry
Valleys of Antarctica, research was being conducted on some of the Taylor Valley streams
through an ongoing study by the U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the National
Science Foundation. This dataset contains chemistry values collected from twelve of the
Fryxell basin streams during the 1990-91 and 1991-92 austral summers.
