Published biweekly from 1941 to 1985, the Aruba Esso News was created by the Lago Oil Transport Company Ltd. as a source of local and international news for the communities of company officers and their families living in Aruba. As such, the Aruba Esso News included news ranging from company activities and events, employee promotions and introductions, and payday schedules. Although mainly written in English, the paper included sections and news written in Papiamento as well. This data set includes pdf files of digitized issues and extracted text in .txt.
