We introduce a family of sums denoted by νn(t) on the set N of natural numbers.We establish recursive identities and derive theorems and propositions illustrating theirimportance for the study of Fibonacci numbers and prime numbers. Connections to knownnumber theoretic representations, such as Zeckendorf's theorem, are also discussed.
