Transcriptomic Insights and Cytochrome P450 Gene Analysis in Kadsura coccinea for Lignan Biosynthesis

Kadsura coccinea, a medicinal plant from the Schisandraceae family native to China, is historically valued for its therapeutic properties, especially in lignan biosynthesis. Despite its pharmacological potential, a significant knowledge gap exists in understanding its genetic and molecular mechanisms. This study, through comprehensive transcriptomic analysis using Illumina NovaSeq 6000 sequencing, aims to bridge this gap by focusing on the biosynthesis pathways of its bioactive compounds.
