This dataset contains post-training evaluation responses collected following a Suicide Safer Community training session delivered to school staff in September 2023. The dataset comprises 88 individual submissions and 30 variables, capturing both quantitative and qualitative feedback from participants across multiple schools. The data includes: * Administrative fields, such as submission date and training location. * Participant background information, including age group, gender, and (optionally) name and email address. * Quantitative Likert-scale measures (scored from 1–10) assessing changes in knowledge, awareness, confidence, and attitudes related to suicide awareness, stigma, language use, warning signs, risk factors, and understanding of suicidal ideation following the training. * Training evaluation metrics, including perceived quality and delivery of the session and likelihood of recommending the training to other schools or organisations. * Future training interest, capturing respondents’ interest in additional suicide prevention or intervention training offerings. * Open-ended qualitative responses, allowing participants to provide suggestions for improvement and general feedback on the training and facilitators. Overall, the dataset provides a mixed-methods evaluation of the training’s effectiveness, combining structured numerical ratings with free-text qualitative reflections.
