Supplementary Information - Muscle Fiber Morphometric Analysis (MusMA): a Simple and Objective Tool to Assess the Size and Shape of Striated Muscle Fibers

Here, we tested for the association between MusMA data and skeletal striated muscle functioning, which suggests that MusMA can complement and make the diagnosis of skeletal muscle alterations more complete. To striated cardiac muscle, we also showed that data from MusMA strongly correlated with markers of cardiovascular risk, suggesting that MusMA has the potential to be used in the prognosis of heart conditions.
