资源简介:
The META (Measuring Early Treatment Adherence) Study prospectively assessed adherence to HIV antiretroviral therapy (ART) in three groups: 1) men and non-pregnant women with CD4 >350 cells/ul and no symptoms, 2) pregnant women with CD4 >350 cells/ul and no symptoms, and 3) men and non-pregnant women with CD4 <200 cells/ul. The goal was to determine if ART adherence varied by experience with HIV and any related illness and/or pregnancy. The study was conducted in southwestern Uganda and Cape Town, South Africa from 2015-2018 and involved follow up of 904 participants at 6 months and 12 months post-ART initiation. Available data include demographics, socio-behavioral factors, electronic adherence records, and HIV RNA levels.
