Effluent discharge was studied from fixed platform and other platforms from NW Atlantic (limit-40 w) for a period of three years. The trace metal concentrations were monitored in Outer Continental Shelf (OCS), George's Bank Sediments from May 29, 1980 to June 9, 1984 by Dr. Mike Bothner of United States Geological Survey (USGS), Woods Hole.
