Field data supporting study of temporal changes in microbial diversity from Louisiana marsh sediment, May 2015

This dataset includes May 2015 field measurements that complement marsh sediment and water samples collected for characterization of microbial communities in Louisiana marshes, a component of a longitudinal study. Water samples collected offshore from the marsh vegetation edge and sediment samples collected both inland and 1-2m offshore from the marsh vegetation edge are supported by meter data (water pH, temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen, soil salinity) as well as other field observations. Complementary bacterial community composition datasets from May 2015 marsh sediment samples will be reported separately (GRIIDC datasets R4.x264.198:0002 and R4.x264.198:0003).
