资源简介:
This dataset includes physiological, immunological, and gene expression data obtained from European seabass (Dicentrarchus labrax) subjected to a dietary intervention and subsequent bacterial challenge.Fish were fed for four weeks with three experimental diets: a control diet and two diets supplemented with yeast β-glucans at inclusion levels of 0.06% and 0.12%. Following the feeding period, fish were exposed to Tenacibaculum maritimum through bath challenge to assess disease resilience.Sampling was performed at defined time points post-infection (e.g., 24 h and 7 days), including both challenged and non-challenged groups. The dataset comprises:Hematological parameters (e.g., white blood cells, red blood cells, hemoglobin)Plasma immune markers (e.g., lysozyme, peroxidase, antiprotease activity)Specific and total IgM levelsGene expression data in skin and intestinal tissues (e.g., il1b, il8, hamp, il10, tgfb)Gene expression was quantified using qPCR and normalized using reference genes, with relative expression calculated using the 2^-ΔΔCt method. This dataset was generated to evaluate the effects of dietary β-glucans on the modulation of innate immune responses and disease resilience in European seabass following bacterial infection
