Data for: Ottaviani et al. (2026) Not only reseeder or resprouter plants: trait syndromes and post-fire responses of three iconic Mediterranean woody species

We examined how fire-related plant functional traits of three focal Mediterranean woody species co-vary in relation to individual developmental stage and fire regime at the intra- and interspecific level within and across three study sites in Italy. The dataset provides variables related to fire regime metrics, plant functional traits (linked to growth, ontogeny, survival, reproduction, carbon allocation, water availability, response to fire) and soil parameters, together with explanation of abbreviations used and units.
