Antifungal drugs are aimed at superficial fungal infections and deep fungal infections, which are mainly including azoles, polyenes, echinocandins, acrylamines and fluorocytosine, and generally target ergosterol biosynthesis pathway, fungal cell membrane, cell wall or fungal DNA/RNA. In recent years, a variety of non-oncology drugs have been discovered for their anticancer activity based on a drug repurposing strategy. Antifungal drugs have shown outstanding anti-tumor activity, which is attributed to the several common or similar targets and pathways are shared between fungal infections and malignancies. Compared with cancer drug discovery, repurposing antifungal drugs in cancer therapy have specific advantages, such as safety, high-cost effectiveness and time savings. This database contains 32 kinds of antifungal drugs which have been widely used in fungal treatment. Based on the information of physicochemical properties, IUPAC name, relative molecular weight, original target and mechanism of action of antifungal drugs, further expanded the information of repurposed antifungal drugs in cancer therapy, including targeted tumor types, anti-tumor activity evaluation, the repurposing of original targets and "off-site" targets, clinical stages of cancer research and corresponding literature sources. The interface supports query functions, such as "CAS registration number of drugs" and "structure". Therefore, this database can be used as an auxiliary tool to retrieve the data of repurposed antifungal drugs for clinical cancer management, thereby helping antifungal drugs broaden new indications and promote clinical translation, reducing the research and development cost of repurposed drug and improving the survival rate of tumor patients.
