研究海洋初级生产力,对于理解全球生态系统健康状况、生物化学循环和气候变化等具有重要意义。笔者于2017年发表了用于海洋初级生产力遥感监测的SABPM模型,该模型利用MODIS卫星月度产品数据中的浮游植物吸收系数,叶绿素浓度,真光层深度,490nm漫衰减系数,光合有效辐射和海表温度6类MODIS产品数据,计算出全球海洋初级生产力遥感监测数据集。SABPM模型是在ABPM模型基础之上改进得到。相比ABPM模型,SABPM模型考虑浮游植物粒径大小结构对浮游植物光合量子产率的影响。经过与站点数据和海上走航的实测数据比较,SABPM模型在大洋区域(尤其是在南大洋区域)的NPP反演精度得到进一步提升。本次发布的数据集包括了2003-2019年以来共198个月的全球海洋初级生产力9km分辨率月度空间分布数据。该数据集为时间序列(以月为频率)数据集,数据将定期更新。该数据集存储为.hdf格式,目前由198个数据文件组成,数据量为6.88GB (压缩为17个文件,2.60GB)。
Research on marine primary productivity is of great significance for understanding the health status of global ecosystems, biochemical cycles, climate change and other related topics. The authors published the SABPM model for remote sensing monitoring of marine primary productivity in 2017. This model uses six types of MODIS monthly product data, including phytoplankton absorption coefficient, chlorophyll concentration, euphotic zone depth, diffuse attenuation coefficient at 490 nm, photosynthetically active radiation, and sea surface temperature, to calculate the global marine primary productivity remote sensing monitoring dataset. The SABPM model is improved based on the ABPM model. Compared with the ABPM model, the SABPM model takes into account the influence of phytoplankton particle size structure on the photosynthetic quantum yield of phytoplankton. After comparison with in-situ station data and shipborne measured data, the SABPM model further improves the inversion accuracy of net primary productivity (NPP) in oceanic regions, especially the Southern Ocean. The dataset released this time includes monthly spatial distribution data of global marine primary productivity with a 9 km resolution, covering a total of 198 months from 2003 to 2019. This is a time-series dataset with a monthly frequency, and the data will be updated regularly. This dataset is stored in .hdf format, currently consisting of 198 data files with a total size of 6.88 GB (compressed into 17 files with a total size of 2.60 GB).
