Clara Oswald is a character in the BBC science-fiction show, Doctor Who. She is played by English actress Jenna-Louise Coleman. She first appeared in the seventh series alongside the eleventh Doctor played by Matt Smith, and continued as companion for the twelfth Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi.
