Paraescarpia echinospica Genome sequencing and assembly

Siboglinid tubeworms, hosting endosymbiotic sulfide-oxidizsing chemoautotrophic bacteria, often form gregarious populations in deep-sea chemosynthetic ecosystems. Information on decorded genomes of several siboglinid endosymbiont genomes have improved our understanding the possible functions of the endosymbiont, interaction between tubeworm host and their symbionts , host adaptations remain largely unclear due to paucity of host genome. Here we report decode the genome of the deep-sea tubeworm Paraescarpia echinospica and present the transcriptomes of different parts regions of worm body.
