Replication Data for: A Counterfactual Analysis of the Impact of Stock Market Absence on Economic Growth in Selected Sub-Saharan African Countries

This replication package contains the Stata do-files and processed datasets used in the study "A Counterfactual Analysis of the Impact of Stock Market Absence on Economic Growth in Selected Sub-Saharan African Countries." The do-files include commands for the main estimation using synthetic control methods, as well as placebo tests and robustness checks. The processed datasets were derived from publicly available sources, including the Penn World Table (version 10.0), the Varieties of Democracy (V-Dem) dataset (version 13), and the IMF Financial Development Index, and cover economic and institutional indicators.
