Prevention of high fat diet induced obesity and associated disease by the major cap-binding protein

Employing genome-wide mass spectrometry and metabolomics, our findings reveal that eIF4E selectively facilitates translation of genes involved in lipid storage and lipid homeostasis pathways in response to fatty acid stimuli.
