3-D standardized lung template from 30 low-dose CT scans from NLST

This repository contains the open-source, 3-D standardized lung template and probabilistic lobar atlas developed from a cohort of the National Lung Screening Trial (NLST). Lung imaging has historically lacked a standardized reference space, hindering the large-scale, voxel-wise analyses that are routine in neuroimaging. This work provides a foundational resource to address that gap, enabling standardized anatomical localization and robust group-level studies in lung cancer screening research.
