Predictive Simulation Dataset - Simulations of gait of people with plantarflexor weakness walking with ankle foot orthosis

This data collection contains Predictive simulations of gait of people with plantar flexor weakness walking with an AFO. <br> The data contains two folders; <br> Folder 1 named: simulations_effect_model_properties contains predictive simulations of various models differing in characteristics, such as amount of plantarflexor weakness, walking with 10 AFO stiffness levels (0 to 500 Nm/rad). <br> The second folder named "Simulations_Interaction_AFOproperties" contains predictive simulations of a model with 80% plantarflexor weakness walking with a simulated AFO varying in properties. We systematically varied neutral angle, footplate stiffness and AFO stiffness. AFO stiffness was set to 50, 100,200,300,400,500,600,700 and 800 Nm/rad. Neutral angle was set to 0, 3 of 6 degrees of dorsiflexion. MTP joint stiffness was set to 48, 75 and 162 Nm/Rad.
