Diffuse Large B cell lymphoma is the most common subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) in adults. It constitutes up to 40% of global cancer cases. Being a highly heterogeneous entity in terms differential sensitivity to therapy, even similar phenotype DLBCL cases have different clinical outcomes. Despite this segregation, a few challenges remain to be solved in the current line of R- CHOP treatment. A molecular index is needed to address the two lacunae molecular heterogeneity and minimal residual disease, which can give a prior prediction for relapse or refractoriness of the patient to the regimen. Using a targeted panel of known genes we wanted to screen the differences in gene mutational patterns between patients who have achieved complete remission compared to DLBCL patients who relapsed or were refractory to chemotherapy.
