Datasets were collected as part of the project titled "EVALUATING THE EFFICEINCY OF RESTORATION EFFORTS IN REVIVING TROPICAL FORESTS USING GROUND INSECTS AS INDICATORS."
Methods
Insects were collected through pitfall trapping (in January and May of 2008 and 2009) from the 24 degraded forest fragments of the Attappady hills along with four sites within the adjoining Anaikatti forests.
