OffWorld Gym

OffWorld Gym is a publicly accessible physical robotic environment created by OFFWORLD Corporation for reinforcement learning research. This dataset includes four tasks across two distinct environments, designed to showcase the capabilities of reinforcement learning through real robotic systems. The dataset addresses general robotic challenges including locomotion, navigation, planning and obstacle avoidance by remotely controlling real robots. In each task, the robot must reach a visual beacon using only visual inputs. During its development, the dataset was tightly integrated into existing ecosystems, enabling the community to start using it without any prior robotics experience. OffWorld Gym has a wide range of application scenarios, aiming to solve real-world robotic manipulation problems and advance the development of reinforcement learning technologies in practical industrial applications.
