资源简介:
This study aimed to investigate the evolutionary patterns of organelle genomes in Zostera caespitosa, a rare seagrass species endemic to the northwestern Pacific. By assembling and comparing its mitochondrial and chloroplast genomes, the research provides insights into genome size variation, codon usage bias, substitution rates, and RNA editing events. The findings contribute to understanding the evolutionary dynamics of seagrass organelle genomes and their phylogenetic relationships, offering valuable data for the study of Zostera species and seagrass evolution.
