RNA polymerase II (RNAPII) is a core enzyme to govern gene expression. Multiple phosphorylations at the C terminal repeat of RNAPII coordinate transcription and transcription coupled events such as RNA processing, histone modification and more. To decipher the roles of each phosphorylation provides comprehensive understanding of transcription. Here we plan to identify "reader" of the CTD phosphorylation by forward genetic screening. fastq files in this list contains potential suppressor of the CTD mutants.
