Original data: Identifying Potential Failure Modes Associated with Sudden Violent Events During the Preoperative Process in the Emergency Department

The dataset is for a relatively comprehensive system of potential failure modes was developed through brainstorming using the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) framework. A total of 48 emergency and outpatient clinical nurses were invited to complete paper-based questionnaires using purposive sampling method, resulting in 37 valid responses. The data were processed to obtain the Risk Priority Numbers (RPNs) for identifying potential failure modes.
