Next-generation sequencing (NGS) based analysis of viruses and bacteria in ocular adnexal extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma (EMZL) with the aim of identifying possible pathogens.Eight samples of extraocular EMZL were subjected to enrichment of microbial (encapsidated) nucleic acids which included sample homogenization, filtration, and nuclease treatment. Both DNA and RNA was sequenced, and the sequencing data analyzed for the presence of viral and bacterial sequences.
