资源简介:
The Klahan campaign is aimed at people in trusting relationships (spousal and sweetheart relationships) with the objective to promote condom use among them. The campaign was named Klahan in Khmer (meaning bravery) and launched in September 2005 using three channels of communication: mass media (TV and radio spots), PSI's Mobile Video Units and the Internet. Eight TV and Radio spots have been aired on local TV and radios. Mobile Video Unit operators have been trained and are delivering Klahan messages to rural populations. The Internet Website of Klahan is now established and computers at various Internet Cafes in Phnom Penh have had their default page changed to the Klahan website. It is expected that the greater exposure people in trusting relationships will have to Klahan messages, the more likely they will be to have a realistic personal risk perception of HIV, strong social support for condom use, and believe condoms are appropriate to use with sweethearts or spouses. Data were collected from 52 Karaoke establishments in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap from 460 karaoke women with sweethearts (KWS) aged 18 - 30 working in the establishments. The questionnaire collected demographic details, information about sexual practices, condom use with different types of partners, personal risk perception for HIV, beliefs about background and trust in a partner, and various scaled constructs related to beliefs about condom use.
