Carrying Capacity EstimationsThe carrying capacity for individuals in this dataset is based on estimated population density (people per km²) for forager societies, as derived from Kavanagh et al. Using a fitted piecewise structural equation model, the authors estimated global population density at a 0.5° × 0.5° resolution.The corresponding raster dataset used in our simulation model is provided in this repository. This raster file is a spatial object in .asc format, where each cell value represents the estimated population density (people per km²) for that location.
