To gain the new insights into the signaling pathways perturbed by 4-Hydroxybenzoic acid (4HBP) exposure in neural stem cells, we performed RNA-seq analysis in Hippocampus-derived primary NSCs. The NSCs were cultured under two conditions: proliferation and differentiation. In each condition, the cells were treated by 1μM 4HBP for 7 days as the treatment group and treated by EtOH (vehicle) as the control group. Gene expression profiles of 1) three replicates of NSC samples cultured in proliferation medium and treated by 1μM 4-Hydroxybenzoic acid for 7 days; 2) three replicates of NSC samples cultured in proliferation medium and treated by EtOH for 7 days; 3) three replicates of NSC samples cultured in differentiation medium and treated by 1μM 4-Hydroxybenzoic acid for 7 days; 2) two replicates of NSC samples cultured in differentiation medium and treated by EtOH for 7 days.
