Depressive symptoms, semen parameters, and sexual outcomes in men undergoing fertility evaluation: a cross-sectional study

Dataset supporting the cross-sectional study "Depressive symptoms, semen parameters, and sexual outcomes in men undergoing fertility evaluation." The dataset comprises 308 men undergoing fertility evaluation and includes three sheets: (1) raw item-level responses for four validated psychological instruments — Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI), Golombok-Rust Inventory of Sexual Satisfaction (GRISS), and International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF-15) — together with demographic variables and WHO 2021-compliant semen analysis parameters; (2) computed total scores for all four instruments, with dummy-coded categorical variables ready for analysis; and (3) a variable codebook describing each variable, its coding, units, and the GRISS reverse-scored items.
