Using iterative in vivo selection strategy, we generated a series of mouse metastatic lines with increased tropism for brain parenchyma or leptomeninges, to faithfully recapitulate the hallmarks of human disease. Overall design: RNA was collected from in vitro cultured parenchymal or leptomeningeal metastatic cells and along with parental cells subjected for transcriptomic analysis.
