Intensive sampling protocol was established in a comercial larviculture facility to explore the dynamic shifts in microbial communities associated with turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) larvae during their development and provide critical insights that could be applied to developing strategies for steering the fish bacteriome toward a healthier state. Target 16S rRNA gene of the host whole organism microbiome (turbot larvae and post-larvae) and bacterioplankton were sequenced at 5, 10, 15 and 30 days after hatching in seventeen rearing tanks over the course of five months
