Viromes of 15 peanut cultivars in Korea

In July 2020, we undertook a comprehensive study involving a collection of 15 peanut cultivars from South Korea, all of which were represented by leaf samples. These cultivars were meticulously selected to investigate their viromes. For the sequencing analysis, we harnessed the full potential of all 15 collected samples, employing paired-end sequencing with a read length of 101 base pairs. The process of sample preparation adhered closely to the recommended protocol, utilizing the TruSeq Stranded Total RNA LT Sample Prep Kit (Plant) and following the guidelines outlined in the TruSeq Stranded Total RNA Sample Prep Guide. This research aimed to unravel the viromes associated with these peanut cultivars, shedding light on their viral populations and potential impacts on crop health and yield.
