资源简介:
Phytoseiid mites are well-known as natural enemies of small arthropod pests. They have been used as biological control agents of spider mites, thrips, whiteflies, etc., and have been applied in orchards, greenhouses, and other agricultural systems worldwide for more than half a century. The first Phytoseiid genome published was Metaseiulus occidentalisin, followed by that of Neoseiulus cucumeris. These are the only two genomes published in Phytoseiidae. Overall, genomic research in Acari are still way fewer than those in insects.Phytoseiulus persimilis was the first commercial phytoseiid biological control agent. Here, we provided a well assembled genome of Phytoseiulus persimilis, which is also the 1st chromosome level genome in Phytoseiidae.
