Shake ’n’ Tap
Older Adults Text-entry Studies (OATS):
Our goal was to investigate user attitudes toward novel input methods for smartphones. We tested user input performance with a gesture-based keyboard that displays only half of the qwerty layout and needs to be “shaken” to display the other half, and compared it to input performance with a standard qwerty keyboard.
