SUN360 (Scene UNderstanding 360° panorama)

The SUN360 Panoramic Database aims to provide fully annotated 360×180 degree full-field panoramic image collections for academic researchers across the fields of computer vision, computer graphics and computational photography, cognitive and neuroscience, human perception, machine learning, and data mining. The dataset covers diverse environmental scenes, locations, and the objects within them. To construct the core of this dataset, the authors downloaded a large number of high-resolution panoramic images from the Internet and grouped them into different location categories. Subsequently, they designed a WebGL-based annotation tool to annotate polygons and cuboids of objects in the scenes.
