Pueblo de San Ildefonso Landscape Management Literature Review

To meet the goals of the project, the Pueblo de San Ildefonso’s Department of Environmental and Cultural Preservation (DECP) first undertook a literature review of existing data and information to identify relevant materials, reach out to partners at nearby public lands, and conduct a targeted literature search. The literature review incorporates 79 resources (i.e., media article, scientific article, landscape management plan, tools & resources) across a range of landscape management practices and concerns (e.g., Indigenous management practices, post-wildfire plant succession, and Cultural resource preservation in relation to fires). The targeted literature search informed the development of hypotheses for how landscape management will affect key outcomes of interest and is compiled in an annotated bibliography.
