Changes in gene expression of Pinus armandii seed kernels during the harvesting period (August to September)

The illumina NovaSeq6000 platform was utilized to generate mRNA profiles of Pinus armandii seednuts obtained in August and September. Total RNA was extracted from seed kernels from each month separately and pooled into three biological replicates for each condition. The concentration and purity of RNA (OD260/280 and OD260/230 ratios) were measured using a NanoPhotometer spectrophotometer. RNA concentration was examined for accurate quantification using a Qubit 2.0 Fluorometer, and then RNA integrity was accurately examined using an Agilent 2100 bioanalyzer. Overall design: The Pinus armandii cones were harvested at the end of August and the end of September, respectively, and then the seeds and the corresponding seed kernels were obtained separately, and the seed kernels at both stages were subjected to RNAseq analysis.
