We propose a 100 ks XMM-Newton observation of J1641 comma a z=6.047 QSO accreting at a super- Eddington rate openParlEdd=1.5closePar. Our exploratory Chandra observation of this object openParvirgul48 net countsclosePar reveals extremely bright X-ray emission comma 9 times brighter than the expectation based on its UV luminosity comma in contrast to our knowledge of accretion at high Eddington ratio. Thanks to the extremely bright X-ray emission of the target comma the new XMM-Newton observation will collect virgul400 net counts comma which is the largest number of X-ray photons for a z>6 QSO comma allowing us to constrain tightly the X- ray properties of this QSO comma in particular its luminosity and photon index comma and to check for variability.
