Transcriptomic profiling between HSC-3 cells and its highly metastatic subline, HSC-3-M3 cells

Metastasis to cervical lymph nodes of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) leads to a poor prognosis. The present study aimed at investigating the pathways and molecules associated with OSCC metastasis. The transcriptome between HSC-3 cells and their highly metastatic subline, HSC-3-M3 cells, was examined using gene expression microarray. Total RNA was isolated from HSC-3 cells and HSC-3-M3 cells for gene expression profiling.
