T-ALL is a kind of cancer of the blood and bone marrow. Cell lines obtained from the patients (T-ALL cell lines) are routinely used to understand the biology of T-ALL. However, a comprehensive comparison of the cancer formation abilities of the two common T-ALL cell lines, MOLT4 and JURKAT cells is sporadically available. To this point, we investigated the two cell lines and found that as compared to the JURKAT cells, MOLT4 exhibited increased tumorigenic potentials in the mice model.
