Dataset in support of the Southampton doctoral thesis "Auditory cortical responses as an objective predictor of speech-in-noise performance" [specifically chapter 4 and 5]

Cortical responses to continuous speech with additional pauses inserted between words The dataset includes EEG responses to natural speech, speech with short pauses and speech with long pauses (Pause_EEG_Speech). In addition, EEG responses to 200 /da/ stimuli is included in Pause_EEG_Da. The EEG files are raw data saved in Biosemi .bdf format. These files can be loaded into software such as MATLAB using the EEGLAB package or Python using the MNE package. Stimuli used to generated the EEG responses are in Pause_Speech_Stimuli. The stimuli includes natural speech (0_s_gaps), speech with short pauses (0.25_s_gaps), and long pauses (0.5_s_gaps). Pause_Stimuli_Order contains information about the order of stimuli conditions presented to each participant.
