Optimal moisture vs. wet sieving data

we systematically evaluated the performance of optimal moisture sieving, a method that maintains soil moisture levels close to field conditions, in comparison to traditional wet sieving. Using Luvisol soils from cropland and grassland under contrasting textures (sandy and loamy), we assessed total and available C and N pools, extracellular enzyme activities (chitinase and peroxidase), microbial respiration, and a soil quality index across aggregate fractions.
