Primary FVB mouse hepatocytes were challenged with delta-aminolevulinic acid (1 millimolar) and deferoxamine (100 micromolar), cocktail that induces hepatocellular protoporphyrin-IX overproduction and accumulation, and treated with either the vehicle DMSO or chlorcyclizine (10 micromolar). Cells were harvested at 12-hour post-treatment. RNA were then extracted, purified, and submitted for RNA-seq analysis.
